Windows XP Stop Error 0×0000007E
INstalling Windows XP on a Dell Laptop?
I have a Dell Latitiude D620 laptop that I bought a new HDD for. I went to install Windows XP on it and I get a blue screen when I try to intall.
I have googled the error but only get responses based upon the OS already being installed.
I have an empty HDD with nothign on it and I get this message when I try to install an OS??

Where would I get teh SATA Drivers from, I checked teh Dell site and I found nothing under my laptop for Drivers???
Are you puting the installation disk in and rebooting? The disk must be in the drive, the bios must be set to boot from cd as first boot device, and the PC must be rebooted after the disk is in
